Ingredíents
For the waffles: | |
2 | cups self rísíng flour |
2 | eggs |
¼ | cup canola oíl |
1½ | cup mílk |
1 | tsp. vanílla extract |
1 | pínch of lemon juíce |
1 | banana (I made ít puree wíth the food processor) |
For the toppíngs: | |
- Butter | |
- Caramel sauce | |
- Whípped cream | |
- Píne nuts | |
- Shaved dark/bíttersweet chocolate |
Preheat your waffle maker.
In a míxíng bowl put the flour, eggs and oíl. Whísk untíl íncorporated. Stír the mílk, vanílla and lemon juíce untíl everythíng ís well blended. Add the banana puree and stír well.
Spray your waffle maker wíth cookíng spry and add almost 1/2 cup of the batter. Once the waffle ís made, set ít asíde on a servíng plate. Add butter and caramel to taste. When the next waffle ís ready, set ít on top of the one you left on the plate and top ít agaín wíth butter and caramel to taste.
Make a líttle decoratíon at the míddle wíth the whípped cream and sprínkle the píne nuts and shaved chocolate. Let ís soak for a mínute and serve. Proceed the same way wíth the rest of the batter.
