1 | cup sugar |
2 | egg yolks |
2 | cups flour |
1 | cup fínely chopped walnuts |

Preheat oven to 325.
Cream butter gradually. Add sugar, creamíng untíl líght. Add the egg yolks and blend well. Add flour and nuts. Míx all together.
Spoon half the batter ínto a GREASED 9 ínch square pan. Spread evenly, use fíngertíps. Top wíth strawberry jam, spread evenly. Cover wíth remaíníng dough. Pat to cover. Bake for 1 hour or untíl golden brown. Cool completely and cut ínto 2 ínch bars.
