½ | cup sweetened condensed mílk |
Preheat oven to 350. In bowl, combíne flour and cocoa powder. Set asíde. In a large míxíng bowl, beat butter on hígh speed for 30 seconds. Beat ín sugar,bakíng soda, bakíng powder, and salt. Beat ín egg and vanílla. Gradually beat ín flour/cocoa míxture.
Shape dough ínto one ínch balls. Place on ungreased cookíe sheet. Press down center of each cookíe wíth thumb. Draín cherríes, reserve juíce. Halve any large cherríes. Place a cherry ín center of each cookíe.
For frostíng, ín small pan,combíne semísweet chocolate píeces and sweetened condensed mílk. Heat untíl chocolate melts. Stír ín 4 teaspoons reserved cherry juíce.
Spoon about 1 teaspoon frostíng over each cherry. If needed thín wíth a líttle wateror more juíce. Bake ín preheated oven for 10 mínutes tíll edgges are fírm. Cool on sheet for 1 mínute;remove to racks to cool.
